Really? I didn't know that. Looking at that picture, they do look alike.

I liked the new episode a lot! Madelyn Sweetin did a fantastic job and as I've said before, it's nice once in a while to see episodes having to do with the kids.

My favorite line:

Robert (to Frank): I congratulate you on your immense success.

I saw Raymond get his Doctorate degree last night.
The phrase "Dysfunctional Family" came to mind.
Robert is still my favorite. His facial reactions to everyone fussing over Raymond are priceless.

Yeah, Robert was great in Monday's episode! I love all of the characters, but I think he's my favorite too Brad Garrett is fantastic!

'Raymond' to Return for Shortened Final Season
Wed Mar 3, 1:59 AM ET Add Entertainment - Reuters TV to My Yahoo!

By Cynthia Littleton

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - It's finally come down to the money part of the equation for the fate of CBS' "Everybody Loves Raymond."

Sources say that series creator Phil Rosenthal and star Ray Romano (news) have agreed to keep at it for a ninth season, albeit at less than a full 22-episode order. The trick now is whether CBS can work out new salary deals at shortened-season rates for Romano, who currently ranks as primetime's highest-paid star at nearly $2 million per episode, and co-stars Patricia Heaton (news), Brad Garrett (news), Peter Boyle (news) and Doris Roberts (news).

Speaking to reporters Tuesday about CBS' February sweep performance, CBS chief Leslie Moonves would only say that he's "very guardedly optimistic" that the network's top-rated sitcom will be back next season.

A Ninth season? I think they still have a few more episodes they can do.

Definitely!

Now that they know for sure that the ninth season will be the final one, they can work on making the series finale absolutely fabulous

Oh, wow, I hadn't even thought of that! You're right that now maybe Robert and Amy can start having children! Ooh, that's so exciting! I think that they just might go down that road

They could, although in one of the recent episodes, Robert said he was going to go home, and not have children.

Last night, I saw an episode that was new to me.
Ray was trying to talk at a funeral, while his Mom and Aunt were feuding, and Robert was making his "funeral noise".

I watched most of it also last night It's one of my favorite episodes. Robert and Marie really shine in that one.
