| Entourage (HBO) #1: Fame. It's more fun with your friends. Is anyone else excited about this show? It looks so good and HBO is well known for only having decent shows and it's gotten good reviews. Plus HBO shows equal Emmys and Golden Globes so this time next year we could be hearing this show being nominated. ![]() Ok so if you haven't heard about the show and seen the commercials on tv. It's about this rising star named Vince Chase who has 3 of his close friends as his circle of friends and an agent played by the awesome Jeremy Piven. Adrian Grenier plays Vince, man I've missed him since Drive Me Crazy. I thought he was so hot after I saw that movie. And it has Kevin Connelly in it! When I saw him I was like 'It's Finn from The Notebook!' He plays Vince's manager and childhood friend. It should offer a good, funny insight into how the industry really is since Mark Wahlberg is the producer. It premieres this Sunday at 10. Here's an article about it. __________________ To think I might not see those eyes Makes it so hard not to cry And as we say our long goodbye I nearly do -Snow Patrol Last edited by D's Girl : 07-15-2004 at 01:54 PM. | |||

| It's too bad I don't get HBO. This show looks like it is going to be wonderful. Like the Sopranos I will have to wait until season DVDs if/when they are released. I'll be lurking to find out if the show is good or not. I hate spoilers.... | |||

| I believe that this Saturday HBO is going to run the first two episodes, show Bill Maher and then show the most recent ep after Bill Maher. SO...for anyone who has missed this so far now is your chance! | |||

| i love eric ![]() episode 04 "Date Night" Directed by: Dan Attias Written by: Doug Ellin and Rob Weiss The big day has arrived, and "Head On" is opening wide across the country, but Vince doesn't seem to be too concerned about going to see the film. Instead, he makes plans to spend the big night hanging out with his boys. Following his lead, Eric plays down the opening and sets up a first date with Emily--and as soon as Vince hears, he declares a date night, over Eric's strident objections. The crew will make a night of it: Eric has Emily, Drama has a muscular new companion of his own; Vince brings pop starlet Justine Chapin and Turtle finds a hot, if potentially psycho, fan of Vince's by reading through his mail. Before the festivities begin, Vince goes on Power 106 to promote the film on L.A.'s hottest radio show, Big Boy's Neighborhood. The conversation veers a bit off-course, and Eric's poor dating history is brought up. His ex-, Kristen, hears about the appearance, and calls him up, hinting that maybe she's not entirely ready to break things off for good. When evening rolls around, the crew travels in style in a limo rented by Turtle, much to Eric's horror. The party goes all over LA, stopping briefly at a few theatres showing "Head On" before making its way to a bowling alley. Eric is aghast, but Emily takes it all in good fun. Eventually, everybody ends up at the club Prey, including Ari, who shows up to deliver the fast financials for the film. Emily is uncomfortable being there with her boss, but she and Eric share a kiss before she departs. Departure turns out to be the theme of the evening, as the other three guys also wind up losing their dates (Vince and Justine split far less acrimoniously than do Turtle, Drama and their respective dates). Ari does deliver good news, as "Head On" is the number one live-action film in the country (coming in second to a talking squirrel picture). Shots of Patron are produced, and the boys from Queens look to celebrate together--at least until the next beautiful women goes by. Location Credits Vince and Co. check out the "Head On" crowds. | I was rolling! I saw that bearded guy and was like, "is that Val Kilmer?" Sure enough - it was really obvious in the indoor scenes. "That was cancelled 7 years ago" - hilarious! I do agree with some article I read online - Vince is probably the least interesting of the group. Great show. | |||
