Yeah it's probably just a bunch of trolls, there is no way the show got cancelled, the first episode technically didn't air yet

I just saw the pilot. OMFG. I think I fell in love. Wow… Now I want to watch the Benedict Cumberbatch version! Not so much to compare, but I do love a good detective show/movie when it’s there for my consumption, so yeah. I want! __________________

I watched it last night and really liked it, it was a lot of fun. Jonny Lee Miller is great as Holmes, very different to Cumberbatch but still Holmesian in hi interpretation. Lucy Liu was amazing as a believable female Watson, she doesn't take any s**t from him but has her own issues to deal with, and they played off each other very well.
I'm looking forward to seeing how they develop the story from here. |

I have also been wanting to watch the Cumberbach version, but a few people the the fandom warned me against it due to the ending of the last series and to wait until the next season starts apparently there is some major cliffhanger

Yeah there is a big cliffhanger. It's a good one, but maybe best to wait if you can.
Here are a couple of cast posters I don't think have been posted yet: Last edited by RubyGrace; 09-07-2012 at 08:00 AM |

I wonder who they'll cast as Moriarty?

I'm actually a big, BIG "BBC Sherlock"'s fan, completely fell in love for Benedict, Lou and ALL the cast seriously, and TPTB of that show are so creative, and the show is just so unique compared to all the soap opera kind of shows we're having now But on the other hand I'm very interested with "Elementary" because: 1. I love Jonny Lee Miller ever since I saw "Emma" 2. Lucy Liu is soooo adorable in the trailer 3. The show definitely seems fun, and it's great to have a female Watson for a change That said, I don't understand why Americans like to make everything in their own versions, no pun intented, I think it's rather funny __________________

I've already seen the pilot and I really enjoyed it. Watched it again tonight and liked it still. It had some great potential. Both Jonny and Lucy were great.

i watched and i thought it was okay. it definitely had a similar vibe to the bbc version, but i dont think the characters are nearly as compelling as sherlock and john from Sherlock. But thats JMO.
I dont see any chemistry (friendship even) between lucy and the main guy, but i thought the plot was decent so Im gonna give it a chance. __________________
