I have caught maybe 20 minutes of the pilot, scattered from beginning to end. So I've seen the beginning, some mid parts, and the end. I have to say it has a great plot, and great actors, and the story lines seem very well written.
Though of course when I start watching something I immediately pick a favorite couple, usually the underdog and I absolutely love Fred, so obviously I'm going to root for them.  I know Grayson was her boyfriend but I don't know.  I guess I need to watch more.  |

I'll have to watch the 2nd episode to get more of a feel. But I have this feeling that I'm just going to root for Fred and Jane. He's so adorable.  |

I think Fred/Jane are cute but I just can't get past what Jaye/Grayson have for some reason. I know he dosen't realize it's her yet, but he still is drawn to her. There's so much potential there. And it's not your typical ship, it's definitely a unique dynamic, since he's so unaware that the same person he lost is the really the same person he's drawn to. But I would be happy to see Fred/Jane explored as well. There's major potential with both. As long as it's all written well, I'm good, lol.

I agree! Grayson/Jane is full of possibilities, too. I just wonder if he will want to act upon his attraction or will he let the weight get in the way. That will be the true test.

Fred liking Stacy? Just seems so out there. And a bit out of character with how he is going about it. Isn't he all about what's on the inside rather than what's on the outside? Well, he saw Stacy for 2 seconds in the office and he already wanted to get in her pants. Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose for what he is trying to do with Deb/Jane?
Wtf, Grayson? You just lost Deb less than a month ago....and you would've gone to dinner with a number woman......if she didn't manipulate you? Loved the last Fred/Jane scene! I really want those two to get together. __________________

^Oh I know. I was kind of scratching my head going, weren't you just telling Deb that she was vain and selfish and that she needed to learn some lessons? And it's not like he was in love for Stacey or anything, he saw her ass, and thought omg hottttttt.
 Yeah, I was pissed at Grayson as well. I mean he's chewing out what'sherface, and the next minute he jumps at the chance just cos she asked nicely. Um, I thought you lost Deb a month ago? Wot?  __________________

Just those two little points bothered me. starryeyed15: I totally agree with all of what you said! It just seemed totally weird on both sides. Fred did not know anything about Stacey. He saw her shaking her ass and he wanted to get into her pants? Really? Not even a conversation first? And, when Grayson was looking at Deb's picture....I thought he was going to say no but I guess not. __________________

You're right, it was a good ep.
I don't know. I don't think the Fred/Stacy thing was that big of a deal. Yes, it's random but I totally get what there doing. He's on earth now, and not up their with dead people, so he's experiencing attraction and all those feelings now like a human would, so he has to live with that. I thought it was pretty funny honestly and Jane's reaction to it all was hilarious. So good drama to me. And the last scene Fred/Jane was really very cute.  As far as the Grayson thing goes, I didn't see anything wrong with his actions. Him accepting her invitation at the end or him saying he would have said yes, if she asked dosen't mean he's betraying Deb's memory in my eyes. You can see he still loves Deb but it's hard. Everyone grieves and tries to cope and/or move on in different ways.  I just love the chemistry between Grayson/Jane. They can just look at each other and it's there. Can't wait till next week!  __________________
