I didn't actually mind the sister reveal. Mycroft's been hinting there was another Holmes sibling since HLV, so I didn't think it came out of nowhere. That said, I'm frightened of what they're going to do in the last episode. I don't want a villain that's 'bigger' than Moriarty, or that he was answering to her, or that he's Sherrinford so there were really four siblings. I really need to lay off the Sherlock speculations because they're making me crazy.

Basically I just don't want Moriarty's characterization to be undermined because he's my favorite. I feel like the final episode will either be amazing or ruin the entire show for me.

Well,that would be interesting, but it would still bug me. It deviates so much from SH canon and it's like this one rpg we did on the RP board for s**s and giggles. I played Harry Potter's older sister who no one remembered. It was based on a quiz about Mary Sues and we got to be as ridiculous as possible. I still managed to somehow refrain from being too frilly, because I couldn't do that to Harry Potter. Why can't they do that to poor SH?

On Elementary, making her his long-lost lover was genius. Putting "the woman" and Moriarty together was brilliant tv. Making Moriarty his sister is interesting, but still deviates too much for my liking. I hope that she's lying or delusional. Remind me which episode was TST.

Has he? I must have missed that. Which episode is HLV? I don't know which abbreviations meant what, lol. If there are four siblings, I will be pissed off. I don't like stuff going far off the Sherlock Holmes canon in general. Most versions of Sherlock Holmes do a good job and stick to the basics, but this version has always been my favorite. I don't want anyone bigger than Moriarty because it's blasphemy.

HLV = His Last Vow. It was the S3 finale. I forget the exact quote but Mycroft alluded to it when he said something like "remember what happened to the other one." I think we were just being led to believe it was a secret brother when it was really a secret sister. I'm just worried about what Sherrinford is since there was only an indication of one secret sibling, not two.

But IA that no one should be bigger than Moriarty or that someone else is trying to be him. I don't mind a little leeway with the original canon, every adaptation will put their own twist on it, but I just think with how much they built up Moriarty in S1-2 and how Sherlock still fixates on him now that it would be a huge waste if someone else was really pulling the strings.

I'll wait out the ep on Sunday to know for sure but I think whoever Euros is, she will have a connection to Moriarty. I swear for a while when the therapist took off her disguise, I thought it was Moriarty (I would have loved that actually). As is with Moffat, he's good at execution but sometimes the endgame is confusing/disappointing.

GG finale was stupid. Maybe if they ended original show like that it would've been a "full sircle" but she is 30 years old and I don't think being pregnant at that age can be compared to being pregnant when you are sixteen, despite all her problems.
