I was worried how the 2nd season would pan out because they are entering fresh and new territory because it is not based on the books. Only season 1 was based upon the books. I thought it would lose its special one-of-a-kind Dexter feel, I am so glad I am wrong so far.

I have seen up to episode 5, I have episode 6 ready to watch but I am holding back until I have a few, plus I might stockpile them for this writers strike so that I have new episodes of shows to watch when there are none.

In last night's episode we finally got to see how dangerous Lila can be when she doesn't get what she wants.

Dexter might be getting too clever for his own good with how he is approaching his problems with Doakes.

and finally dexter got back at doakes but um now he is only going to get more creepy and stalkerish! DAMN!

has anyone seen the promo? three people are out for dexter and he is going to kill one of the three... i honestly believe its Lila because i think she goes after Rita but his monster quote could be to any of them, so we'll have to wait and see

well the woman who plays Lila was slated to be in 10 of the 12 episodes of the season so it could be hunee.

it's starting to get a bit weird for me, so i haven't been watching it lately.

I love the show as much as ever.

Loved Dexter fighting back and outsmarting Doakes..............but it's definitely not going to end anything for sure.

The second season of Dexter has been great so far. I was actually a bit worried about how it turn out but my doubts were unfounded.
I actually don't mind Doakes because I kind of liked it that not everyone fell for the front Dexter puts on. But now that Doakes is suspended from his job, he might be even more after Dexter than before.
And Lila sure is dangerous and ruthless. I might actually have cheered if she landed herself in the hospital with 3rd degree burns after her little fire-starting. I'm not a big fan of Rita but I definitely like her about a 1000 times better with Dexter than I like Lila with Dexter.

I don't really mind Dexter and Lila. Her character is kind of interesting. I like Dexter and Rita but i'm not a huge fan of their relationship.

Doakes is so fixated on Dexter right now that he didn't even show up for the job interview Maria arranged for him. I'm not a big Doakes fan but I also don't want to see him leave the show by getting frammed as the Bay Harbor Killer. A character like Doakes is needed to keep the tension going with Dexter and his extra curricular activities.

last nights ep was fantastic... deb is love... that huge wave she tossed lila as she left was adorable... and something i do lol

omg at doakes! and worse off its a cliffhanger so now we have to wait a freakin week to see what is going to happen there... i kept on screaming at the tv NONONO!!

and yea, the three stooges finding out about the car was such a major bummer... zomg, its all falling down on dexter... makes me sad

can't wait for next week!
