The Days is a comedic drama that offers a smart and true take on a modern American family, with two ambitious parents and three strong-minded kids grappling with sobering and often humorous change-of-life issues. Each episode of The Days chronicles a 24-hour period in the life of the family, as seen through the eyes of witty but cynical 15-year-old son Cooper.
Jack Day is the prototypical attorney, who happens to hate practicing law. His wife, Abby, has recently reentered the workforce and been promoted to creative director of a major Philadelphia ad agency. Jack and Abby have three kids: Natalie, a straight-A student and school soccer star who seems to have it all, Cooper, a sometimes dark and insightful teenager who � from his edgy perspective -- takes the family's pulse on a daily basis, and Nathan, a nine-year-old genius who suffers panic attacks.
The challenges the Days face as a family are at once unique and universal, among them -- the stress of job change or of jobs that never change; the uncomfortable newness of additions to family, and the equally uncomfortable sameness of family; the issues of true identity faced by kids racing toward adulthood, and on the other extreme of adults longing for childhood.
The Days chronicles five people with five different agendas leading five different lives under one roof.
The series stars David Newsom as Jack Day, Marguerite MacIntyre as Abby, Laura Ramsey as Natalie, Evan Peters as Cooper and Zach Maurer as Nathan.
Executive producers for the series are Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins, Joe Davola, Peter Tortorici and John Scott Shepherd, who also wrote and created it. The Days is from Mindshare North America and Tollin/Robbins Productions.

Wow....tonight!!! Well I'll have to catch it, maybe you should add that into the title, so people will know.

Thank goodness USA shows The Deadzone at midnight too, or I'd be screwed...

So tonight is the pilot eppy, right? I've not heard of it before until just now. Hopefully it will be good, we need more good tv shows

Yupp the pilot is tonight. Ive seen previews for quite a while now and it looks pretty interesting, so i'm going to check it out. I hope it's good, because I need a show to watch on Sunday

I have alot this summer on sundays to watch since USA has the 4400, which if you havent checked out it is def worth it

And the Deadzone. So those keep me busy.

But heck I'm always willing to fit in a few more.

I don't think I've heard of any of these actors before, are they new or unheard of ones?

K i'll do that right now. They have the actors bio's at the ABC website, but I havn't heard of any of them before, either.

Checked it out and it was pretty cool.

I liked Cooper, he is like the supposed *druggie/punk rocker type of guy* or whatever but I thought it was cool he stood up for his sister.

Nathan bringing flowers to Maria....awwww...so sweet.

Both mom and daughter preggo!! That is just great!! haha...I bet that will be on heck of a storyline.

Jack quitting his job....haha...although hopefully he does get a job soon, hello! two babies on the way!

overall it was really good, nice storyline, it was clean which is a first, it was funny and witty so I think I def will tune in next week.

Cooper was my favourite character, for sure.

The daughter/mother both pregnant. whoa. I'm anxious to see how this play's out. And Jack losing his job. Oh my, this family needs help. lol

Overall, I thought it was good too, and I'll be watching next week.

I was watching up until the daughter found out she was pregnant in the bathroom with her friends...and then my friend called, and distracted me otherwise. I've been wanting to watch it...I'm sorry I missed it.

I was watching it and I definitely liked it. I really want some screen caps of Cooper because he is new my fictional character to have a huge crush on. I want a Cooper. Can I have a Cooper?

I actually really liked this show aside from Cooper too. I hope that it did good in the ratings department because I think it's pretty good, probably the best thing to come from Tollins/Robins crap factory...so I'm happy. Heh.

OMG! Okay, so the only reason I tuned into The Days last night is because I needed something to keep me entertained on a Sunday night since they aren't playing Alias re-runs. I did not think that I was going to get as into it as I did. I love this show. Cooper is totally filling in as the fictional character that I will be basing all of my crushes on. At least until the OC returns.

I almost missed it last night.

I was looking forward to watching it, and I definitely enjoyed it. It has some interesting stories going on and I can't wait to see how they play out through the rest of the upcoming episodes. I'm definitely going to watch.

Yay, I'm so happy more of you were able to watch it.

I know I totally like Cooper too. We haven't had a lead character like him before....or atleast one on any show I watch. I'm already waiting to find out how everything goes.

I feel bad for Natalie, one she got pregnant in highschool, can't play soccer (which i for one knows that sucks to high hell) and the father of the child doesn't want to have a baby. He wanted to take her for an abortion! Its so wrong...but yet that is how alot of guys are too. Hopefully she will keep the baby...hehe her baby and her mom's baby will grow up together...that is so sweet.
