ah, i didn't realize there was a thread for this! i've been watching the show religiously, since i've been a huge fan of the book since it came out. really love the tv adaption so far, it's very faithful plot-wise and tonally to the book.

I watched the whole series in a few days. It was good, but really dark. Almost a bit too dark for me, I wanted a bit more humor/light moments.
But it was still a great series. The coach was so inappropriate. I am a coach, so that gave me the creeps.  I felt so bad for Beth the whole series. Such a crappy home life, Addy was being annoying, and then her assault/rape... ugh. I want to know what really happened there, they didnt really extend on it??? I liked Addy so much at first but she quickly got so annoying, always defending coach and choosing her over Beth. |
