It's been airing every sunday, i think we are on episode 5 today.

And yes 6 episodes per series (the only reason i am saying series instead of season, its coz in the UK, we say series (as USA says season)

Thanks. I need to catch up on S1 this week. Most of American TV is in hiatus so with just 6 eps per series, it's very easy to catch up.

So I watched 2 eps yesterday from S1 and I loved it. The main title sequence is so pretty though. And I love the location, Corfu is so beautiful. I also like the light humor that the show has. I found myself actually laughing out loud. Keeley as Louisa is amazing.

That's why I love British telly more, less episodes and not much filler eps.

Spiro is that Greek man they met who takes care of everything around the house and the Durrells right?

Yes, no filler episodes and tigher storyline to pack in 6 or 9 episodes.

He is amazing! I also have a soft spot for Theodore, Gerry's older friend. Those 2 characters will always be there for the Durrells.

I still have 2 more eps to watch for S1 but I feel like I might catch up to S2 soon. I'm really loving the show and I am laughing at the humor too. Larry said something in episode 4 about how he has 2 brothers where one collects animals and the other one kills them. It's so true.

I'm nearly caught up. I've just seen the first 3 episodes of S2. I am really loving this show. Did they really shoot this in Corfu? The place is beautiful.

I'm also liking Spiro a lot this season and most especially Theo. I just adore his friendship with Gerry. There was this ep where Gerry was holding this dead animal and he was crying and I was crying too because he loves them so much. Also in the S1 finale, Gerry contemplated on setting off the animals he's taken care of free and then the last minute he changed his mind and he was blabbering about how they all need someone to take care of them and I'm just reminded of Newt Scamander and he just became my favorite Durrell child.

Also in episode 2 of S2, this was the ep where almost everyone got drunk and Theo thought he can walk in the water so he just walked and fell on the water, flat on his face. I was dying laughing. They were all hilarious drunk!

Yep its set in Corfu!! The cast have said and it really shows and the atomosphere.

Yes i agree with his friendship with Gerry.



Spiro is lovely, i loved how he got Louisa's wedding ring back awww

I also read an article which said that while it's gorgeous to look at on the telly, the actors had a hard time shooting and it wasn't always lovely. I can just imagine though. They usually shoot outside and just the cinematography is so breathtaking. There were shots were I was like with the place.

Last episode aired on ITV last night right? I'll catch up to the last 3 eps of S2 this coming weekend.

Yes it did. Again lovely beautiful cinematography.

There is one scene in the finale episode that looks out overall of Corfu (the sea and so on) its beautiful.
