It was bound to happen sooner or later. I knew once I heard about Scott's new show, that it would be this season. But I also thought last season it would have happened. He was never a main character so his time was ticking.

Jen, I think it's just the one episode which is next week, at least that's what I remember reading somewhere.

The ratings were already going down and I think they will even more now

I think the plans for the character changed along the way, possibly because of the fan reaction to Leo and Lapril, at least that's how it looked to me. The character equivalent on the original show was supposed to die midway through S1 but Leo was such a big part of the show, sometimes even more than some of the mains. So yeah I think Scott's new show was the culprit here.

i haven't seen it yet but i cannot say that i am surprised at all.
1) we knew w/ leo it was a matter of time.
2) scott had a new show.
3) no characters are safe these days on tv and sadly I've gotten used to tv deaths.

it sucks, and i will never ship april with dominic so now I'm not sure i will be making the show a priority. i really only cared about it as much as i did for leo/april.

I agree that Leo/April really make the show. With Scott's new show, I'm sure there were filming/time commitment issues. I just hope the new show does well.

I haven't liked her with Dominic since the first few episodes and don't see that being a natural couple to ship again considering the way he has has treated her.

I think the best thing the show can do from here is really focus on April's strength and connection/bond with her family as she struggles to fight her illness and recover from Leo's death.

I'm not excited for it either... I just hope it does well not only for the actors and crew on it but for Chasing Life as well.

I do like Scott and Chace so I will check it out. They could make leo death a dream and April In a coma since her wedding collapse

Love this idea! If needed, just write Leo back in that way.

I'm going to check the show out as well because I like the cast, and the network has been putting a lot of advertising dollars behind promoting it.
