From Shonda Rhimes, the producer of “Scandal” and “How to Get Away With Murder” comes The Catch, starring Mirelle Enos. The thriller enters around Alice Martin (Eonus), a fraud investigator who follows money trails to help take down embezzlers, money launderers and cartels.

Alice is a partner at a top firm in Los Angeles, which gives her and her fiancé, Kieran (Damon Dayoub), a very nice lifestyle. In the pilot, we’ll see a big case that takes Alice to Japan where she engages a suspected embezzler. With some help from her junior associates, Maria and James, will Alice be able to take the embezzler down?

Personal issues soon become a huge problem with Kieran disappears with a valuable painting and two million dollars from her bank account. Blindsided by the betrayal, Alice is determined to track down her fiancé so that she can find out the truth and prevent her clients from finding out that the top fraud investigator was the victim of fraud herself. What Alice doesn’t know is that Kieran has a double-life — but can he still manage to resist Alice and pull off his con?

The Catch will air midseason on ABC.

the only one that played that part well was kate walsh! omg. i miss addison. meredith really was the prototype though. now look at what shonda has become! :lol: sad.

Thanks for the link. That is quite the introduction to Shondaland. Mireille Enos is a beautiful woman, but that dress was not a good choice. It's ill fitting and the color is off putting. :lol:

Shonda shows tend to start off really strong. I'm excited to see if this one lives up to the others. :D

Yeah, me too. I love thriller. I will not create high expectations but I prefer not scorn the show before it even begins. :)
