And yeah, like watching her struggle with it is personal for me, because I went though it about 6-7 years ago. I just think she is such a blessed person, she's kind, beautiful and strong. She may not think it, but she is strong and to watch her sink back to alcohol is hard.

It is hard to watch, especially as she's done so well to stay off the drink for so long. But I guess it's true to life, and addicts can fall back into their old ways due to a personal crisis like that.

It definitely is hard to watch when you know just how much Trixie has done well to go to meetings and be sober etc.

I like the episode. So sad about that woman who had the Huntington disease and pregnant. At least her baby was good. But the downside was the baby had to be given away to foster care because she can't be taken care of.

I don't get why Trixie broke up with Christopher? They were in a good place? Was it because of his kid, which really wasn't an issue before? I'm sad that she's back drinking again. I hope she pulls through with this one.

I was also horrified with the au pair SL, Margo. I'm glad she's okay but I can also understand her dilemma.

I think it was hid child, yes. When she ignored Trixie, you could see her expression change, almost knowing.

That's sad. But are we doing this SL for Trixie because Helen is pregnant on the show? Maybe they're going to write Trixie off for a while? I saw the preview for the next ep and it looks like she's gonna be sent away somewhere.

I think she filmed all her scenes on set days. So I don't think she'd leave. Call the midwife doesn't film for a long time like most shows. Only a few weeks. I'd imagine she'd have a baby sitter or take her baby on set.

Thanks. I can understand if Trixie leaves for a while on the show because Helen is pregnant but if they can cleverly hide her belly (like that way), then it's good she'll be in all eps of the show.

I actually don't really miss Barbara & Tom though.

I've only just realised you're talking in the possible sense. She's been pregnant in the show since the Christmas episode. She said in an interview on ITV that even though they tried to hide it you can still see it. I'm surprised you haven't noticed. She wears black a lot and they always cover her belly with a baggy coat, furniture or pillows. Like when she's standing around talking they put a couch in front of where she's standing, or when she's sitting on the bed she puts a pillow in her lap.
