The popular ITV drama Broadchurch is rumoured to be filming in Clevedon today.

The show is currently filming for its second series and rumour has it the show is filming in Marshalls Field.

Previously, Marshalls Field was a prime location in the last series along with Hill Road which was used to represent Broadchurch High Street.

The first series of the crime thriller saw around seven million viewers tune in each week.

The programme, created by Chris Chibnall, stars David Tennant and Olivia Colman, who have starred as Doctor Who and Peep Show respectively.

The cast confirmed for the new series include Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, James D'Arcy and Eve Myles.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on tonight at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California, as part of the bi-annual TV Press Tour.

The Television Critics Awards are an organisation comprised of TV critics, reporters, columnists and bloggers who work in the US and Canada. These are the 30th annual TCA Awards. They recognise outstanding television programming in the 2013-2014 season, honoring actors, producers and programs in a variety of categories, including news and information, youth, reality, drama and comedy achievements.

I haven't seen Broadchurch, but I have seen Gracepoint...I hear Gracepoint was a carbon copy of Broadchurch...so I guess i'll be watching s2 of Broadchurch to see what would have happened on Gracepoint if it didn't get canceled.

If you can find Broadchurch, I'd highly recommend it. Try your local library. I watched the first couple of episodes of Gracepoint but just found it to be a pale copy of the original.

It's good to know that Showcase has picked up Season 2 for next year.
