I didn't dislike Jane but I knew she wasn't good for Jesse unless they could sort themselves out. She certainly didn't deserve to die like that, however I do feel her death was a massive turning point in the show especially for Walt because it felt like the first truly awful act he'd committed and when we started to see Heisenberg emerge and Walt disappear. Also how it connected to the plane crash and that whole cause and effect was genius.

Apparently they did float the idea at the end to have a flash forward to Holly grown up dealing with the knowledge of her father's deeds and potentially having her turn out like Walt. Now that's a sequel I would be intrigued to watch plus you could have most of the old characters including Jesse in it.

I would like to see Jesse back but I have doubts they will go that way. Better Call Saul has most prequel stuff but also has some post Breaking Bad stuff. We can definitely see Jesse thrown into the mix somewhere
I agree Jane was toxic for Jesse because they each had their own issues to deal with. It did break his heart to lose her but I think ultimately it was better for him. Still it was sad that she died and it did seem to be a turning point for Walt.

They were a bad influence on each other but still they had cute scenes. They were great for each other in many ways, but it was the drugs what ultimately made it bad between them

I agree they did have some good scenes, I think without her drug problem I would have liked Jane more.

I would like to know why the brought in her character that was no good for Jesse though?
I mean, why not somebody who is a good influence on him.

Because Jesse like Walt had to go down before he could come up. If Jesse found someone good he probably would have walked away from the drug business but Walt had no intention of letting him go. Plus I think it was a way of showing how people that get involved in that business can become consumed by it. Jesse represented the downside in terms of drug abuse and losing everything. Walt represented the dangers of power and greed.

So true, if Jesse had a girl that was a good influence he would have been out of the picture. Jesse was definitely easily influenced by the people in his life.

I did too He really needed help, too bad he got his friends to sell meth at the meeting though.

I was happy that he was going to those meetings but using meth at them was nothing surprising! I think deep down he wanted to overcome it. I like how he describes that one day bleeds into the next..
That story about the box he made and then traded it for weed..
