Most abuse is learned at home. Having an abusive mother would be a interesting direction because then it could explain his dislike of women. Or...maybe his father abused his mother, and that is where he learned it?

Yup either way and whatever the outcome is, I'm sure it will be a powerful storyline for Meryl. She'll absolutely nail it!

Oh yay! I think he's so awesome and a cutie and kind of underrated as a dramatic actor. I kind of hope he has a little more to do in season 2.
