Plus HBO cost $$$ I think that they can't go overboard w/ budget when they have other new show w/ big stars..

Most likely the same. These actors are also on a tight schedule. They'll only be allowed to shoot for "xx" number of months. Yes they don't come cheap but HBO can afford them especially if the payoff is getting awards.

It's HBO, I'm sure they can afford the budget considering how much they have spent on other shows.

I'd assume we'd get the same number of episodes, as their shows in general always have the same amount of episodes. True Blood - 12, GoT - 10 (with the exception of the latest series) etc.

The big question is will there be a S3? If S2 is just as successful, will this cast agree to do another season?

If they won again, then I think that they want to do it.. But the question is the movie project will keep it stop them to do it??

I think as long as season 2 is still acclaimed and winning awards, they would be open to it IMO. The storyline would have to be strong though for them to commit to it.

And everyone needs to be on-board too. I won't opt for a re-cast. I enjoyed this show primarily because of the cast (and SL).

Not sure if there will be a S3. I know they love working together, but they're all pretty famous and they mostly prefer working on movies, so I don't know? Awards and money help a lot, but even filming just 7 episodes takes a few months, so I don't know if they want to commit to that again for just one project?

I guess it all depends on how successful S2 will be but with Meryl on-board, a lot of people will watch.

And that's also what I'm thinking. Most of this cast are huge movie stars who can't really commit to doing TV shows for "xx" number of months. Plus I think movies pay more?

It depends on the storyline and whether they also have the time for it too.

I think that it depend.. I mean, Meryl and Nicole are A-Lister and they cost more than other plus one actress, I forget her name, not Reese.. They cost more than others.. But like you said, it depend on how many episode we will see Meryl in..
