Only 7 episodes? That means we're getting halfway then
I really liked the episode I'm bad at names but the Reese character was interesting but had less stuff going on in comparison to the previous eps.. Her crying in the car was sad though same could be said for her daughter moving in with her dad. Nicole's character... I wish she would be strong and get out of that relationship. Seems like she's given up everything for him!! Interesting dynamic nonetheless and I'm glad they did speak about the violence in counseling. which was a great scene! I don't buy that he wants to be a better guy really  I love Shailene's story too.. very sad how she got raped and got pregnant. Understandable why she didn't want the father's name of the tree of her son for school.. Heartbreaking scene with her son though but I did like her cheering him on at baseball! __________________

Shailene's story is great and complicated. It really goes into an explanation as to why she is a much younger mom than the others.
I haven't watched this week's episode yet but will probably watch it this weekend.  Yup-it's 7 episodes. This article from EW mentions it. Big Little Lies premiere recap: Season 1, episode 1 __________________

I re-read the book last week, after watching a few episodes; it put me in the mood
I think some people may be surprised at the ending, but this was one of my fav books when it came out. Looking forward to seeing how everything plays out. You'll understand why Jane came to this town in particular. |

Yeah she's stunning but in general I love her character! She's very out there/blunt/curious and because of Reese she gets away with it as well.

Reese is stunning in general, but I just love her style and character in this show! I agree that it is probably who the character entails.
