I thought the pilot was very entertaining and much better than I expected. It's nice to have some new sci-fi on TV again.

Lot's of story arcs/mysteries set up in the pilot. You have Liber8 vs. Corporate Congress in 2077...and neither side really looks like the good guys. Then you have Kiera's 'not so accidental' trip through time. Was she sent here to preserve the future or to change it? Then there's Alec and his life-changing tech...he's the real wildcard in all this.

This was the only show I voted for in the Summer Poll, thus I had expectations and I'm glad that it wasn't a disappointment, quite the opposite actually, I really liked the pilot.


This! It's really nice to have a new sci-fi show on TV again.

That was one of the best thing in the pilot, that neither side looks like the good guys. I think with the last scene they made the surprise of the pilot.
So happy to see Cancer Man/Cigarette Smoking Man, ehm Alec Sadler/William B. Davis, in this show.

i liked the young guy she was talking to, the actor was in scream 4 i think. hes a cutie.

Exactly, it's still a mystery to me as to which side is really in the right of things. I've been reading comments about Continuum on various forums, blogs etc...and it seems there's quite a few irate viewers who are really bent out of shape about the Corporations being labelled the good guys in this series. I didn't get that from the pilot at all. The Corporations are in control because they bailed out the government...that's all we really know so far. We have no idea what led up to that control and how the "new government" is really being operated. And based on the opening and closing scenes, Keira is beginning to look like an unfortunate pawn in all this. She will do what she believes is right, but there is also room for her to grow her POV now that she sees what the world was like in 2012 (she was fascinated by the soap and running water. I guess that's in short supply in the future).

Alec seems like a good kid. But is he a good who wants to change the world for the better, or a good kid who just wants to get rich and far away from his family? And what's up with his family anyway? Are they the beginnings of Liber8?

This is the kind of series I like...one which makes you think out loud.

I thought the beginning of the episode was just okay, but I ended up really enjoying it by the end! It picked up half way through and developed much better. I really like Kiera and i'm interested to see where it goes. Totally going to keep watching Add me please!

episode 2 was good! i loveeeee alec. hes such a cutie, and i love his little flirtation with kiera too, even though itll probably never happen.

cooper (sorry dont know his real name) isnt my favorite and i think his thing with kiera is a bit forced... idk. :/
