I quite like it. But I want to punch Lauren in the nose.

Yay there's a Being Human thread!
I love the show.
It's deliciously dark and funny at the same time.
Episode 4 was amazing. They surprised with with few things,

like the public outrage and how far it went, the kid getting hit by a car, Mitchell turning the kid and going back to the vamp clan.

It was darker than I expected.

I've only seen the first two episodes so far but am really loving what I've seen. Mitchell is my favourite (see icon

), he was in the original pilot as well.

Its very similar to Torchwood with the mix of drama and comedy, hoping it gets recommissioned for a second series as there are only six episodes in the first.

I saw the pilot and I need to catch up, it seems good so far. Hopefully it's on BBC's Iplayer.

6 episodes is a standard thing for BBC series, some shows literally have 6 a year and then you just have to wait 46 weeks for the show to come back round again. I'm still waiting for season 3 of Kingdom to air and it's been almost a year.

I think I've become spoilt thanks to the US shows I watch and their 20-something episode runs

. I can sympathise with the wait though, the gap between series 4 and 5 of Hustle seemed an eternity.

Watching this has made me realise how truly bad ITV's Demons is (no offence if anyone is a fan, it just really isn't my sort of thing).

Being Human is really growing on me. The main characters are likeable, their interaction is adorable and the stories are suspenseful and funny without being too silly.

It's good that the season is short, because the episodes have a lot going on, but also bad because we have to wait forever until the next season.

There's gotta be a new season, this show has so much potencial.

Mitchell is my fav! I adore Vamps, and he is hot!

BBC Three has commissioned a new eight-part series of supernatural drama Being Human.

The show, which follows a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost living in modern day Bristol, has achieved strong ratings since it premiered last month.

BBC Three controller Danny Cohen said of the series: "I'm thrilled that we are recommissioning Being Human. It's hugely popular with young viewers and [has] earned great critical acclaim at the same time. It's also a very improtant staging-post in the successful development of home-grown young drama on BBC Three."

Speaking of possible series two storylines, executive producer Rob Pursey said: "We already have some very exciting, very dark new stories up our sleeves."

The current series of Being Human concludes on Sunday.

Wonderful news about renewal!

I can't wait for the finale. Episode 5 ended with quite the cliffhanger.

I watched only Demons pilot. It was so bad that I couldn't force myself to watch any more, even though I love most of the cast. I'm not surprised it got canceled.

Ok, when the first season came out with the original cast I loved it. Especially since it had Russell Tovey whom I loved since History Boys. George is my favorite mainly because I've seen tortured vampire before. But the kind of werewolf that George is new and interesting.

I haven't been able to see the new cast since living in the US. I was wonder for those who have seen both how is it?
