Television - Being Erica #1

"Therapist" Dr. Tom - who is constantly spouting famous and not so famous historical quotes - is Erica Strange's savior and worst enemy. Erica, a young adult woman, is having a bad life because of the bad decisions she's made. Erica provides Dr. Tom with a long list of those pivotal moments in her life that she feels have led to the bad state she is in today. Erica is initially unaware of what Dr. Tom is intending on doing with this list. What he does do is transport her back in time to each of those moments so that she, with all the knowledge of her present day life, can make better decisions to fix her life. Regardless of these new decisions, Dr. Tom hopes that Erica will come to the realization that although the opinions of others about her life do matter, it's what she thinks of her decisions and her life that are more important.

Has anybody seen this show? It is so funny!

Every time Erica has a scene with Leo, it breaks my heart.

I made some icons, but Lj is down at the moment, so I can't get to them.

OK, I've seen all episodes now and I LOVE it.

I do love Ethan/Erica, but is it just me who sense some vibes between Dr Tom and Erica?? Especially in the last episode. Come on, I can't be the only one......right??

I do love Ethan/Erica. Their kiss was HOT! I have not watched the 4th and 5th episodes yet(doing that tonight!) so I have not seen the new Dr. Tom/Erica scenes. They do have a weird vibe.

We in the states don't get it until Feb 19th and it is on soapnet. I opened up a thread on this on the soaps forum. You noticed they are advertising it on the bottom of the page. I can't wait to see it. one MORE week.

I'm loving this show! I really hope it stays on the air for a while, haven't seen anything this good on CBC for a while!

Everyone at home that I rec it to has watched it and fallen in love with it. A few of them also told me they couldn't believe it was Canadian.

Anyway, anyone see the new episode that just aired tonight?

I loved it. I liked the way it didn't trun out the way she wanted for once. But I didn't like the subject around it-. I wiosh it was something else because I REALLY didn't want Sam to marry Josh. And i don't like Sam. I think she's a bitch

I loved the last scene between Erica and Dr Tom. It was pretty touching

sanna_o75 I know what you're talking about Dr Tom/Erica, but I believe I only saw it in those scenes they shared in that fourth episode. But not really the other episodes. It's weird, I was like it's pretty good they chose those two actors to play off each other as nothing more than just what they have. So, yeah I get it.
