They also need to write a proper SL for Craig next season. I mean, what exactly happened to Craig? He was all over the place. Renn. Frankie. He's not doing drugs so much which is good. He also accidentally killed someone early in the season. But what else? Deran, Pope, J & Smurf all had pretty solid SLs but Craig was...?

Also the way the women are written off this show: Nicky, Lucy, Renn & Frankie. They're just gone. I don't mind Nicky not returning but they just conveniently wrote her off by having her shoot herself because of the drugs she took. Except for Lucy, everyone still has the potential to be back though.

They really do, it was pretty obvious that the writers didn't really know what to do with him this season.

I wonder if Frankie will appear next season, since they didn't seem to write her out in the finale

I have a feeling that she might be back otherwise her ending, if that was it, was very abrupt. Will Dichen be back for S2 of Altered Carbon? I can't remember if her character died or not.

I think she can manage. She shot AK after she wrapped on AC. Will Denis Leary be back? They shoot in January so we won't get casting news until December or January.

I also don't like how Billy just left. He mostly just hung out at the Codys, did drugs with Frankie, cajoled Deran into asking his brothers to help him with a job that he didn't even participate in and he just sat in the car. And then when Smurf got back, he decided to just bail and take Deran's money. The writing for the character is all over the place.

He could be back but I don't see any reason to because he stole money from Deran and obviously Deran won't like that he's back. Plus Smurf basically knew or had an inkling why he's back so the Codys won't take it well if they see him again.

To wrap up his SL because he just left, then I can see him back but I hope just for one ep. I really don't like Billy. Plus I'd want more new characters.

I think for Pope, he'll be back to his S1 self because Lena isn't around. Deran will be busy getting Adrian out of jail and he'll most likely get back at the guys who talked Adrian into smuggling drugs. Smurf will still be the same, manipulating his boys. As for Craig, I'm not sure because his character was so-so last season. Probably that Renn pregnant SL will come back to him?

Interested to see what Pope will do about Smurf next season actually and I really hope that Craig gets a better storyline too. Can you see Deran get back at the smugglers being his storyline next season?

For sure especially if Adrian lands in jail for smuggling drugs. I'm thinking he might ask Smurf's help to get back at the smugglers (with his brothers help to take them all down). And that also gets Deran back into Smurf's hold as he's the one who's obviously trying to steer clear of her.
