Yes. There's a time jump from ep 1 to 2. Probably 2 months.

Pope is still taking care of Lena who is being bullied in school. Adrian and Deran look to be officially together and FINALLY, Deran looks like he got his together. He even sponsored Adrian for a surfing competition. And J is doing adult stuff, collecting rent, paying off debtors and visiting Smurf aka what Smurf usually does. Craig is in Mexico, getting wasted and high. He got on the wrong foot with some Mexicans there and now he's back home because his money was stolen from him. So the Cody boys all need money now which means they need to do a job.

Next ep is probably the ep where we see Denis Leary. I initially thought that will be the ep where we see him.

Thought it was interesting that there was an mini time jump between the episodes, since I thought we would have gotten another episode dealing with direct aftermath of Baz's death. It's interested to see that Deran pulled an down without telling the boys about it and I'm not shocked that Craig spent his time in Mexico getting high and drunk. Interested to see if Smurf tells the boys about that job the other inmate told er about.

^ If anything I think Smurf will tell J. He's the one that she trusts the most. And J is basically doing what Smurf is doing if she's not in jail. The trouble is, will Craig, Deran & Pope even do what he says? For now they are because they're strapped for cash and they need to do another job. That's probably how Denis Leary comes in.

They've wrapped shooting for S3. Looks like the actress who plays Lucy has a huge ep coming up too.

Didn't she really imply to J that Baz was his dad? Or was that someone else. I don't really see them listening to J in the long run, so it will be interesting to see how Denis Leary's character plays into that.

Yes Smurf told J, when he visited her at prison, that Baz was his dad but he didn't believe her. At least that's what I got out of that scene. And yes, J being the younger one (and technically the newest with jobs) will probably be overturned by either Pope, Deran or Craig.

That's right, not sure how we will find out the truth now that Baz is dead. Which one of the three do you see complaining the most about taking orders for J?

Probably Deran and Craig. Though I think both of them & Pope won't listen to him. I think Pope is the new Baz now actually.
