I'm confused what this season is about due to the teaser I saw on TV today.

also, it starts earlier than I expected on Sept 12 so I have to remember that!

Usually with this show, I start watching it and it's good and then goes downhill for my interest so we shall see if it's good this time. I liked how Cult started but not how it ended up.

I think the point of the trailers/promos is to intrigue and confuse on purpose, so you tune in to find out.

I think most theories have some half truth in them, and some are just complete guesses, but because of this new season's crossover with past seasons, some like Sarah Paulson are playing more than one previous character.
