A look inside the chaotic, hopeful and sometimes absurd lives of judges, prosecutors and public defenders as they work with bailiffs, clerks and cops to get justice for the people of Los Angeles amidst a flawed legal process. Among them is newly appointed Judge Lola Carmichael, a highly regarded and impressive deputy district attorney who doesn't intend to sit back on the bench in her new role, but instead leans in, immediately pushing the boundaries and challenging the expectations of what a judge can be.

I like this episode

I like that Lola finding a loophole in the system to keep the guy from getting deported.
Lola and Mark’s friendship is really nice. Also like the dynamic between Lola and Sherri, didn’t know if it would work between them but glad they’re figuring it out.

I am loving this show. I watched it on a whim and am so glad I did. Mark and Lola are going to have an affair at some point, huh? lol They have chemistry. So do Emily and Luke. Emily is already my favorite character but I like everyone and that's so rare for a TV show for me to like the whole cast lol
