Nice start to the season!

It was so cool how they incorporated Nipsey in the episode. Very well done!

Olivia was great in the episode wanting to fix everything.

I don’t like that Grace and Corey are planning on keeping Dillion’s paternity a secret. I don’t think that guy at the end was Coreys son, maybe nephew. At least that’s what I hope. lol

Felt bad for Coop, but she had to know there would be backlash for what she did.

I don’t get why Layla is hiding what happened.

I think Layla might be embarrassed (even though she has no need to be) about what happened so I think she's trying to cover her feelings up. I'm glad Olivia is trying to reach out to her though. I think she's lying about her dad being back.

I felt sad seeing the mom crying like that..I guess Olivia thought it was best to give her space at that moment.

And oh I almost for this line from Grace to Spencer - "Look at me, Spencer. You don't have to ever beg anyone for anything. Do you hear me? You are a King. Don't you ever forget that."

I loved that so much!

Yeah he’s not back they showed a text message from him asking her to come visit during winter break. So I’m not really sure what’s going on there.

That was sad. I thought it was weird at first when she left. But Olivia knew Laura wouldn’t have wanted Olivia to see her like that. It was nice to see after her talk with Grace, Laura went and asked for Spencer to come back an stay with them.

That was a great line.

I'm glad Spencer is back to living with them too but I wonder for how long. If he's gonna play for his dad then he doesn't have to live there anymore.

Makes sense. I think the kid he's hugging will end up playing for him and be a rival to Spencer.

ETA - I just saw on Samantha's insta story that it was picked up for 3 more episodes.. for a total of 16 episodes. And it had its highest ratings on CW following its streaming run. So happy!!

Yeah it doesn't get promoted at all. I'm glad it was added on Netflix over the summer, that's how I found out about it.
