I still stand by shows ending at their peak instead of dragging on FOREVER and starting to suck. Which is the case with many TV shows.

Yeah I'd rather have shows that are short but with substance rather than dragging it out until it all doesn't make sense anymore.
Personally I wish this show ended earlier but some of the latter seasons have been good compared to the earlier seasons. Overall I'm glad ABC stuck around with the show long enough for the show to develop and improve. __________________

Personally I thought it could have ended around S4 or S5. I do enjoy the show more when it deals with space and time-travel.
