Anyone else watching the VMAs right now? I figured we could have a thread to post comments and what not.

Britney looked good! Rihanna did well also. Russell Brand is okay so far.. in his Forgetting Sarah Marshall getup.

The VMA's were okay.

Russell Brand is a huge improvement over the last 5 years (Diddy, Jack Black, Sarah Silverman, no host).

The performances were good.

The best part was Jordan Sparks vs. Russell Brand.

What an emabarrassment this was for me. The crowd was asleep, I don't know what was going on, but I didn't like it one bit.

Britney looked gorgeous, though. Two years in a row the entire show has been about her. She's the one giving life support to a dying tradition.

I didn`t watch the VMAs again and from what i`ve heard, i didn`t miss anything. The VMAs are a reflection at how bad MTV has gotten in the last decade. I hope MTV will spare everyone by not rerunning it, at least occasionally.

Russell Brand was an awful host. Loved Kid Rock he was the best part.

I have to agree. It's such a shame, MTV used to be quite good.

I agree the VMA's and MTV have went down hill in years. My parents have the VMA's recorded from the 80s and early 90s they were so good back them and MTV.
