We went to the park anyway Mum was working. One of the kids decided to get in a baby swing and got stuck.

So of course you went over to help immediately and didn't point and laugh instead?

Nope, other kid wanted to go on something that was outside the play area (sort of like an exercise thing) so we went out the park (could still see kid inside park, it was just outside) and I said "At least we know he isn't going anywhere."

When me & Izzy have kids I don't think I ask you to babysit.

I mean, I was pretty close to him anyway, just on the other side of the fence, so it's not as if he was alone (although there are plenty of kids his age and younger that I see alone there when walking my dog). The other kid is younger, so couldn't let that one wander off. Ended up swapping the kids for the dog with my mum so that she could get him out of the swing.

I should have shared this story with you. A couple of days ago I took my dog for a walk, we were approaching this park and there were three kids there, no adult, but the kids were obviously there together. I could see the girl laying on the floor and could hear her crying, so I have this moment of "dammit, she's hurt, I'm the only adult here, I'm going to have to get involved" But as I got closer I realised that yes, she was laying on the floor, yes she was crying, but she was also shouting at the older boy that was there (I assume they were her brothers). She wasn't hurt, she was mad at her brother and had chosen to express that by laying on the floor.
