Exclusive News: Sister Cities Novel To Be Released This Year

Sister Cities fans, fear not, the journey is far from over. Colette Freedman will be releasing a novel of the film late October.

Colette Freedman, writer of Sister Cities, informed Gossip & Gab that she is coming out with a novel based off her original play. Sister Cities, which started off as a stage play, was adapted for the big screen (starring Troian Bellisario, Stana Katic, Jess Weixler, and Michelle Tranchetenberg as the four sisters and Jacki Weaver as Mary).

The film premiered at Traverse City Film Festival before it was picked up by Lifetime and aired in September. Freedman is now turning the screenplay into a novel and plans to release it late October, exact date to be announced.

The novel will include the letters from Mary to each of her daughters as well as more details to expand on the plot from the film and play. More details about the book will be revealed as the release date gets closer. Stay tuned for all the latest information about Sister Cities the novel.
