That ruins the fun, I guess There's no mystery if they confirm or deny it. Speculation is attention and they love both the attention, and feeding into it. Annoying, but it's likely good for publicity.

I'd prefer honesty because at least then we'd know whether or not they plan on completely destroying this friendship, but I get why they won't confirm or deny, especially now when they need all the publicity they can get.

I guess that depends on how you look at it We want the truth so we know what to expect, they want the speculation because speculation gets people talking about the show, so it's good for them.

I think this is probably another reason that I want Spencer and Hanna to still be really close. Aside from my absolutely loving their friendship, if they're still close, Spencer is less likely to even consider dating Hanna's ex. Imo, she shouldn't anyway, but it just wouldn't happen if they're still close.
