He did the romance thing with a hunter before and it didn't end well. I think Derek knows that Allison isn't exactly like Kate, but probably still distrusts her.

Now Allison's going to be an even bigger threat to Derek. She might even take on some of Kates traits. When she said "if any of this pack try to protect him, we kill them. All of them." I saw a little Kate there.

Yeah, but if it's in Kate's case, she would probably still kill all of the pack even if they didn't try to protect Derek

I hated that line from Allison

Like you said, it's Kate like. I didn't like the way Kate went about her werewolf hunting business

I thought we would have gotten a little flashback in S1, but

didn't happen. Maybe in S3 Jill will get to come back for some before the fire scenes.

ITA with you, I think Kate would rather die, look at Allison's mom, she is not even an Argent and she preferred death! But if things were different, it would have been interesting, that's damn sure! :3
