How can anyone ship Stalia?!
They have no connection at all. It's so platonic. Seeing them is just like seeing good friends hanging out. I dont even think Jeff ships them, since they didn't even kiss each other or hugged each other goodbye or anything, when they were going into fight. I think Stiles were much more worried about Lydia, than about Malia.

I think TW is over for me. I loved this show so much, but there is no storyline anymore and all the great chemistry between Lydia and Stiles is just being wasted. If there will be Stydia in season 5 I will be back, but not until that.

Stars Fade

I'm still hanging onto hope which is why I don't come around here that often. I still believe they're going to happen. In a way, Jeff is showing that red string of fate this season. There was a few times we see that red string, and a season without Stiles/Lydia interactions, barely..Remember the meaning, it stretches but it would never break, meaning their connection will never break. It's still there. So yeah, I'm still going to believe they're going to happen.

As for Lydia/Parrish, I don't see him as a potential love interest. I don't get any romantic feelings that they're going to happen even though it's possible. Lydia could have potential love interests but I feel like with Stiles, and only Stiles, those walls comes down. nobody knows her like he does. Stiles/Malia...i don't see them lasting very long. Maybe they'll break up during hiatus or maybe not. I hope that if Stiles/Malia were to continue, i hope for along the way...Stiles would realize that Lydia still holds a place in his heart. I also hope for Malia getting some sort of independence while looking for her mother, the desert wolf.

You should come around more...we could use the optimism. I'm not feeling very positive about the show right now but I do think the hiatus will help.

I've always felt this thread was extremely positive when it came to S/L and their storyline.

That's actually a really positive outlook, and it's a good one to have I agree.

I'm just going to tell you why I don't feel positive anymore. I've watched this show since the beginning. Four years of anticipation for Stiles and Lydia to come together. I refuse at this moment to believe in Jeff's 'just keep watching kids!' tagline for SL any longer. I don't want empty promises, I want progress and development but S4 has derailed all of that for me. I can't keep believing in empty promises when Holland doesn't even know what's going on with them Every interview has been cringeworthy when she tries so hard to give us hope and then every episode slaps us down.

IDK. I can't have false hope any longer. I will always love this couple, but I refuse to let Jeff play me for a fool for ratings.
