I didn't either, but there was a lot of potential for this storyline to be explore. Sad that Jeff didn't really take much care when it came to justice for Peter using her.

^ Yeah, he does seem to have a tendency to use her. But at the same time, I think he knows she's capable of handling it, otherwise he wouldn't get her to do it. And he does seem extremely protective when he feels like she's in trouble...

I was just thinking about why I like the idea of them as a couple and in my opinion, it's because Peter is perfect for Lydia. When Lydia was with Jackson, she tried so hard to make sure he came out on top; she cheered him on as the captain of the lacrosse team, she made him seem really good at bowling, she basically wanted him to show characteristics of a leader (alpha). But that role didn't come naturally to Jackson, so she always ended up having to push him.

Then there's Stiles. And while Stiles see's Lydia for being this beautiful, intelligent person, Stiles usually works stuff out on his own. Lydia even remarked 'you always figure it out, Stiles' in an almost bittersweet way.

Now Peter also appears to be quite cunning and hardly what you would call stupid, but he usually requires Lydia to help him out (and was the one who originally brought out her gifts). I feel like this would be a good thing for Lydia, because with Jackson she felt like she had to play dumb for his benefit and though Stiles knew she was intelligent, he didn't really need her. However Peter makes her feel useful and needed and shows the ambitious, leadership characteristics she always wanted in Jackson. That's the reason why I think he's the perfect choice for her.

She is a mature for her age, but there's a lot to forgive him for. He used her, and he's never apologized for it. I need to see him work for her forgiveness first before I could see them move forward.

Still hoping to see them in Eichen House together.
