Why I happen to like Pydia (and this might differ from other Pydia shippers) is because Ian Bohen and Holland Roden has AMAAAAAAAAAZING chemistry! Like how INTENSE are those Pydia scenes? It’s just WOW! I love their dynamic. And you’re right, Peter has terrorized her and he has done awful things. He IS the villain after all, but that’s what’s so fascinating about it. He’s a very charming, clever villain. And he recognizes her value. Even though Lydia is the Queen B of the school, everyone easily shoves her in the dark (much like Caroline in TVD actually… and I think I’ve mentioned before that Pydia is like the dark!klaroline storyline that I always wanted) and they underestimate her (except for maybe Stiles but even with Stiles he holds her in this holy/fantasy regard). Whereas Peter comes to her in a very calculated, informed way. Like he said in the last episode “Lydia Martin is not only beautiful, not only smart. But she is immune.” He knows all these things about her, he NOTICES her. And it’s a rather dark, creepy, stalkerish attention, but I happen to like dark ships. It’s like the allure of the bad boy character taken to a whole new level. Am I going to advocate this kind of relationship in real life? NO. But this is a tv show and I know it’s a tv show and it makes for a helluva good form of entertainment.
