They do need some fun scenes. The last sort of fun scene we got of them was when Lydia brought over the dress for Allison, but even then Allison was pumping her for questions. I think they just need to have a supernatural free sleep over or something.

It's sort of sad that they are best friends, but Allison doesn't know about Peter and Lydia doesn't know that Allison's mom died.

Exactly. They call each other best friends but I don't think they've confided in each other enough for me to think of them as "best friends who would do anything for each other" yet. They probably are each other's "best" friend but I don't see them as your usual "best friends" yet if you understand where I'm going with this

I think once Lydia comes to terms with everything she and Allison can start to work together and be more open. I hated that Allison was constantly lying to her even when she could tell Lydia was on the verge of a mental breakdown.

I want these two to develop a real friendship so much. They are friends but are not essentially close friends. I want to see them cry and comfort each other and laugh together and get drunk together (oh dear, how fun would that be?). I want them to have each others' backs cuz right now they don't.

Their friendship doesn't seem deep enough. Like they don't tell each other everything, and they don't cry in front of one another or tell each other secrets. But at the same time, they're still each other's best friend. I want them to be closer though and I want them to start being more open.

This is one of the relationship I want Jeff to work on. They could be so much more, but I feel like with all the drama they get pushed aside. Both Lydia and Allison have had moments this season were one or the other could have stepped up to comfort the other. Lydia's struggle to get a grip on what happened to her--Allison showed little to no support. Sure she tried to protect her, but she never actually listened to Lydia when she needed someone to talk to. When Allison's Aunt died Lydia just made a snooty comment, and that was it. I really hope Lydia gets to comfort Allison about the death of her mother.
