Arsenal was someone who, more or less as I understand it, could use most things as a weapon. He just didn't use bows, but guns, and knives...
he also had a tendency of ... being somewhat darker? In some comics he became more of a vigilante than hero and had his share of problems with Oliver / Green Arrow. And he kind of bounced around a bit. Worked for government, was part of the Suicide Squad , Teen Titans, etc... He and Oliver had a love-hate relationship, as far as I recall. And he kind of bounced around being "good" and being a darker vigilante type. I think. Its been a while since so I had to do some research __________________

no problem... hope I got that right. Saw someone else say that Arsenal was more of a "bruiser" and relied more on strength, which would also make sense giving that Roy now has a boatload of strength.
I am kind of dreading the end of the season because I seem to recall Colton saying once
Spoiler:
the official episode synopsis mentions Roy this week but mentions that while looking after Thea, he's mad about how he's "forced to do it". Not sure exactly what that means, keeping secrets? Something else? Doesn't sound like he'll be interacting too closely with the others than if he's just hovering around Thea. Have to wait and see __________________

Wish they'd focus more on Roy and less on the Lance sisters

I don't totally mind it seeing as they are central to the story line and even more central to Oliver...
IMO, the thing that kind of takes time away is the harem and then the flash backs. Because generally speaking in a given episode Oliver and Felicity have moments and then now you have Oliver and Sara having moments with occasionally Laurel thrown in there... and then you go back to the island for five minutes or so per episode maybe where you get part of the story, sure, but there are basically 3 characters who appear in those flash backs now that Shado is dead and I don't know that we're going to see the doctor anytime soon. Then you have the time taken to deal with Slade / whatever threat is coming this week. Once you add that all up, there is a small window for the other characters ie Roy, Thea, Detective Lance, Moira, sometimes Diggle, etc. to do something in a given episode because 1/3 or greater has been used up all ready. I mean, I love the flash backs, don't get me wrong. Just saying that if you're going to have a large cast I don't know if you can do everything they're doing without people missing time. Like the coming episode. With the Huntress coming back and her show down with Sara, I imagine that like with Diggle that is going to be the primary of the episode. And that is fine. But it also means to me that some characters are going to be left without much to do during the episode IMO __________________

I could do with out all the flashbacks. Flashbacks should only be used every once in a while. With Arrow you get them every episode. It's kind of annoying. IA it does take away from all the character who could contribute to the storyline.

A thing that bothers me with Arrow is that they bought Roy onto the team but didn't show him adjusting to it or the team adjusting to having him there. Instead they jumped right into Lance family crap.
