We haven't seen Peter since so I'm taking it as Talia told Derek something that's gonna put him on the right path and out of his Uncle's scheming hands. I think Derek still has a big role to play in his plan. He'll be back.

Given that one flashback episode from when Derek killed that girl he loved it would seem Peter was scheming something involving Derek from back in those days. Was Peter exiled from the family back then? I don't remember but Derek's initial reaction to Peter being there at the school seemed negative like he had no business talking to him... maybe?

Peter was still very much apart of the family from what we've seen. The story was told by Peter so some of the events were most likely twisted to his advantage. The conversation between D/P didn't seem all that hostile to me. I think it was all just a manipulation on Peter's part. As for Peter being at the school when he's not a student was weird. That was the only off thing about the situation IMO.

Maybe, but I just find it so weird that when Peter showed up, his automatic reaction was along the lines of asking him what he was doing there and then threatening to try to have him banned from school grounds.

I dunno. Maybe it was nothing.

Peter's in his 20's, graduated. I'd want to know why my uncle was coming to see me away from home. If he's visiting at school it should be important. I'd say a family emergency. Stuff like that just doesn't happen when you're in High School. Family doesn't get to come in and hang out. It's weird. Also Peter was trying to give him advice on his love life. He was kind of upset by it, and I can understand him lashing out like a typical teen.

Like I said, you could very well be right I just got a different read from it is all. I mean if we were talking about normal teens I'd probably would be completely with you on this but given they are a pack of wolves what normally doesn't happen regarding highschool probably doesn't qualify. That and Peter is shifty and Talia seemed wise so I can't help but wonder if he was plottin something back then and generally kept his distance from his sister (Derek's mom) while slithering around Derek.

He may have been a member of the family but I am just getting the impression that he may not have been "liked" for lack of a better word.

He was up to something for sure. We now know Talia took not only the memory of the location of the Nemeton, but also some of Peter's past. She probably knew he'd corrupt his child. I just hope the situation gets good follow up. There are so many pot holes.
