Too many characters and trying to fit too much. So things had to be cut. Unfortunately, that was Scott/Jackson. Despite the season was Scott trying to save Jackson. And like no solo scene.....?

exactly! just too much going on. trying to develop the stories of the new characters while dealing with everything else going on just didnt leave time for them or "Jackson" interacting with a lot of people, actually. Most of it seemed to be that it he was being controlled most of the season

Exactly. I think most of "Jackson" screen time was the kanima. A couple with Danny, Stiles, Lydia... Couple threesome moments with Erica/Isaac

. I'm TRYING to remember if there was any actual Jackson/Scott. A couple with Stiles, when maybe Lydia was turning and then Jackson telling them about what was gonna happen in Chem. Which don't REALLY count as Jackson/Scott scenes.

up, something I said during the season.

Colton was on the screen a ton but "Jackson" wasn't. Which sounds weird but was basically the truth at the same time.

He had almost no interaction with Scott or Allison, really. I mean, his and Allison's big scene was 99% when he was being controlled

which is why again I don't get bringing in quite every new character we had for Season 2...

when the cast was getting along as well as they did and were... I don't know. I thought that the cast was just about perfect.

I get adding a few new ones but I think we had a bit too many moving pieces

We only have a few new permenant characters. The others are filler characters. I like the original cast, but the shows getting bigger. Sometimes more cast is necessary.
