I loved their scene from S1 when Tess finds out the truth about him and he saves her

they were cause he was going to re-locate after faking his death by blowing the warehouse up to get Joe off his case

Its one of my favorite moments as well of the whole series, not just of scenes for them

Yes it was a lot to deal with and she didn't accept it right away, but it was an important moment.
