Too bad Cat isn't a detective anymore. Like I said in the episode thread, I do think that in the long run Cat working for DHS is better for their friendship. Tess doesn't have to cover for Cat and Vincent anymore, and they are equals now (instead of Tess being Cat's boss). I hope they still get to work together every now and then though.

I agree that it will be better for their friendship. But I felt so bad for Tess having to find out that way and then her admitting she missed working cases with Cat. (although if she really wanted to she would have to go back down to detective)

Oh definitely, I felt bad for her too. When Cat first took over Tess' case, I thought, well this isn't going to help their friendship at all. But then by the end of the episode I realized that it was actually a good thing. Tess being Cat's friend and boss at the same time just doesn't work.

Just the emotions
  but I agree that this will turn out for the better - now Tess won't have to worry about covering for Vincent and beast related. I just hope that Tess will still be around though  so it was emotional gut hit but I think it'll be for the best too__________________
