Yeah, I agree. I almost wish she didn't become captain because she became all about going by the book and not covering up stuff for Vincent's sake. Even though, she knew she couldn't expose him.

At first I thought it would be easier for Cat and Vincent to help people if they had a Captain on their side, but Tess wasn't even on their side most of the time which is really sad. At least she did the right thing in the end but it was very frustrating for a while.

Yeah exactly ! When I was watching it and saw she got the Captain job I was like ohhh that is gonna be perfect for them. But she completely changed the second she put on those police captain shoes. I wish she was a bit more supportive of them and was more of a friend in face of those situations.....

Yeah they needed the drama. Just wish it would have been short lived because it made her out to be a not so great friend since it lasted the entire time she was captain

Exactly, it did last too long. When the show started Tess was one of my favourite characters and I loved her friendship with Cat, so it was really sad to see when Tess changed and their friendship as well
