I miss Evan as well and unlike Gabe I liked him and thought that his heart was always in the right place and I would've preferred Evan staying on the show opposed to Gabe coming in and trying to take over the entire shoe to the point where we didn't see much of J.T. or Tess for a long time during Season 2.

I couldn't agree more

I miss Evan and his character really contributed something to the show in a good way, whereas the whole Gabe storyline just seemed to annoy (most) fans.

I am still trying to figure out what the whole point of saving Gabe at the end of Season 1 was because in my honest opinion the powers that be never made much a connection to that and Gabe seemed to be so ungrateful for his second chance and self-centered and his storyline seemed to take over the show and I think that Gabe was a good bad guy but to try and make him a good guy and love interest for Catherine just didn't work. I think that Evan was a great supporting character and was a good man just not the man for Catherine but, I liked them as friends.
