Thanks for the thread! Can't wait!

I really enjoyed this episode. I loved all the interactions that we don't usually see that much, like Vincent/Heather, Cat/JT and Heather/Tess
I also really liked that we got to see Cat and Vincent jogging at the start of the episode, that reminded me of season one :sigh: It was nice to see them working a case that wasn't completely beast related. I miss that. I do think there was too much talk about them wanting normal lives though. We get it  Cat getting Tess to do some undercover work was a nice change from her captain duties, I miss them being partners. I felt bad for Heather when she realized it was probably for the best to stay away from Kyle :( |
Just watched both episodes. I forgot it was returning even after reminding myself.
I definitely enjoyed the Vincent and Heather scene. We never get enough of those two. Plus Vincent was funny trying to distract himself and stat calm. Really enjoyed Boosty as well. For what's probably a throw away episode it was a fun dynamic. Plus Tess undercover was fun. I kind of miss her as cats partner. However, I'm kind of getting annoyed that last seasons favorite mantra as still been present. I'm over them whining and worry every episode about getting back to a normal life or having tondeal with beasts. |

I also found the whole benching Vincent thing stupid. It's something I could put up with if it was the shows first season but it's not, and from everything they like to reiterate they've overcome & work better as a team since nothing can get in between them, you'd think you'd know by now benching Vincent doesn't work. On a whole I've found these first 2 eps to be very annoying dialogue wise, and after such a long wait it's dissapointing. Also seemed to me that as soon as they realised the heiress wasn't connected to the Beasts, their interest in her dropped. They didn't seem to care too much that she'd been exposed, even attempt to help her avoid that since it was all about making sure they didn't end up like that, and blaming her sister for what happened. You have a person's family in protective custody, that means having all their family members and if you think a person's in another country co-ordinate with local law enforcement, or better yet since you're rich enough have your own security on a person. I also don't get the sudden focus on JT not being able to combine his Vincent work with his teaching since it's never been a problem before. |
I didn't mind Cat benching Vincent. She meant well and at least they didn't argue/go behind each other's backs like last season. I'm glad that towards the end Cat realized it was a mistake and they decided to work together.

I did like that Cat and Vincent matched while running but yet their conversation seemed a little pointless by this point. Like you said Crystal, repetitive even from the previous episode. I still think my favorite part was Tess undercover. It was nice to see her doing something other then being so uptight as Captain! |
I only started watching this season. I kinda like Cat and Vincent, but I think I missed a lot.
|
^ I'd say so  I hope you'll watch the other seasons when this one is over.
