I thought we could use this to discuss the original fairytale and what might be used from it in the show, what we hope to see etc.

Yeah that's the only version I know too is the Disney one!! One of my fav Disney movie's is Beauty and the Beast

Most people do.
 That's why I linked the original story and the wiki page in the first post. There's some similarities to the Disney version, but it's quite different.__________________

I love the original tale and the Disney movie, but I never watched the other tv series. That's why I'm looking forward to this one.

I'm pretty sure there won't be talking furniture in this one, but that was my favourite part of Disney.
