Possible Board Closure Discussion • Board to Close on December 14
 

Flave and I have been discussing this, and we think that it may be time to close this board. Our post counts have been declining over the past few months and we have very few regular posters. As you know, Fan Forum requires that we average at least 15 posts per day, with lower numbers than that leading to warnings and then possible closure of the board. We would prefer to go out under our own terms rather than be forced to close due to low post counts.

Please let us know what you think. We'd be glad to hear any suggestions or advice to renew interest here. Remember that to keep the board going, we need the commitment of a few regular, dedicated posters. As much as we love this board, please don't just post to "save" the board and then disappear again, because we'll be in the same position that we're in now if you do.

It hasn't been an easy decision, but with the end of the show the activity on this board has only been decreasing. We’re very proud of what we all achieved, we tried our best to get people involved in all the threads, but we’ve reached a point we know that won’t happen. We think it’s time; it’s been two great years with this fantastic show and have had great times here on the board.

We would like to know your opinion and we will take it into consideration. So please let us know your thoughts.

Nooooo :(. Could we at least move the Charloe thread somewhere else and wait a few days until everyone knows the new location?

Yeah, I'd hate to see this entire board go, but I'd really like to save this Charloe thread somewhere. Can we have a few days to see if we can drum up any new interest in the board? Cause I admit, I've been spending a lot of my time on Twitter due to the Relocate Revolution campaign. But maybe we can bring a few of those people back here. I can give it a try.

Yes the Charloe thread can be re-opened over on the Couples board. As the same for any other threads. Like David Lyons can be opened over at the Celebrities board .

The information is in the first post guys :group_hug: I know this is a shock -- believe me, this is a tough decision, but like the post said, we're possibly discussing it. There is no date of closing yet, because this is just a discussion right now. We need help to get this board moving again...if anyone feels we can keep this board alive....that's always positive. We want to hear your thoughts on this...if you want to keep this board alive or feel it best for it to be closed.

I think we should hold off, at least until we see how this Relocate Revolution to
Netflix goes-you never know-they could pick it up. Wait and see. The date for
that mass tweet is July 2-unless it gets changed. Can you hold off til we hear
something official from Netflix? People are writing to the head of Netflix too and tweeting to him too, so you never know.

I think I have mixed feelings on closing the board, so I'm not able to vote either way. :(

Flave and Mel, I think closing the board is appropriate. I have really enjoyed the board and the great folks I've met here. I've not been around as much on :ff: and can't commit to being around this summer to keep the counts up especially with only a few regular posters.

With only two seasons, it won't go into syndication so I think it will be hard to continue to discuss the show. From what I've read, it doesn't look like it will get picked up by another network either. :bawl:

This is sad .. Unfortunate once a show gets axed so hard to maintain it but ATM a lot of boards are struggling to make the count could be that time of the year ..

I hope this board stays open and you guys can keep talking about it .. I'm with you to the end Mel :hug:

I know that its hard to find anything interesting to talk about here atm. As long as most of the actors don´t have any other projects or we don´t know how the relocateRevolution will go. I hope the boards stays still open for a while.
