It looks like each episode is mainly on one persons flashback though, like this episode was mainly Aaron I believe.

I want to find out more about his life growing up, actually. He didn't seem to like militia and he grew up around it so it'd be nice to find our more with that

Definitely especially since we do know he looked up to his father when he was young and his father was teaching him how to protect him self, and only use what he knows for self defense, when was the moment that all changed between the two.
