Though there's just a few minutes to go before the finale starts, I've gotta say...it's been a good ride having this show around. I've gotta give props to Tracy, Billy, David, Giancarlo, Zak, Elizabeth, and everyone else that's been on the show for making it as enjoyable as it has been, and I'll miss seeing them on my screen week after wee.

It was very weak series finale if you ask me. This show started so good and now this... stupid nanoes... Basically whatever Monroe and others were doing don't matter because nanoes will take over humans one day (looks like very soon).
I am glad Revolution is over because I wouldn't be watching next season for sure. Nanoes killed the show! I was happy to see Jason one more time. Also liked the way they wraped Monroe's and Miles friendship. Monroe's son was a storyline we didn't really need - kind of waste of time. I hate NBC for cancelling good shows. |

I'm relieved that none of the major characters died. I thought Gene, then Miles, and Charlie in the Patriot camp were sitting ducks and expected a bullet between at least one set of eyes, maybe two. Was holding my breath.
I always tried to get my son to watch Revolution with me but he was always busy. I did tell him what was going on from time to time. Anyway, he watched the last ~10 minutes with me tonight and then said "you just witnessed the beginning of the Zombie Apocalypse" - and it was so true! I was happy it ended with trust re-established between Monroe and Miles, even at the expense of alienating Connor. I wish we could know if Connor goes to Idaho with Tom, but we won't. Oh, say .. we didn't see that scene of Charlie hugging Connor, did we? Unless I blinked .. there were a lot of disjointed moments. Heavy editing, obviously. __________________

I too was happy that Miles and Monroe ended on a better note. I also liked Miles and Charlies's conversation about Rachel. ...AND Gene lived. I kept waiting in the last five minutes of the show for him to get shot but it didn't happen. ********* The final reveal Last edited by Ann357; 05-21-2014 at 09:21 PM |

I'm completely drained...I was holding my breath expecting someone to die, but nothing. Then the ending .... come on, i'm so bummed right now one of the major story lines I was interested in was them finally getting to California, and from how it sounds if the show were to continue California would've been a new piece to head too. Finally. So bummed. If it wasn't a series finally I would've said that was a fantastic episode, leaving me with questions, but alas it was the series finally so we're left with unanswered questions and a non-canceled vibe finale.
I really hope theirs some way where it'll be picked up, I really do. Well what I enjoyed about this episode, Monroe choosing a side, Rachel totally showing yet again her crazy side Loved seeing Jason again, even though he was just a nano. so sad. But my favorite scene was the conversation between Charlie and Miles and what baffled me was the fact that I'm not left routing for him to be her dad. Yes I actually said it, after 2 seasons of me hoping her to not be his kid, after what she said "I wish it was you," it was like she had a deeper meaning...like parent and the way he looked at her was like he began to question. Maybe I'm just seeing things but I tell you that scene was my fav. I'll probably have more to say later, but as of now, that's all I have. |

^ If you didn't like the nanos, you didn't have to watch it. Why bother to say you're glad it's cancelled?
Revolution was one of my favorite shows for 2 years. I'd have gladly kept watching to see the stories continue. __________________

and JD. Loved the whole cast though-really good acting all around. "Run, you idiots!" Classic Miles. I loved the Monroe and Miles stuff-Monroe coming through when Miles was the only one who thought he would. The Miles/Charlie convo was awesome! The scene where Monroe outsmarted 3 guys trying to take his prisoner! Awesome! The nano storyline was also my least favorite. And the way it ended, yuck. How in the world could they fight THAT? But, you know what, I'd still watch a Season 3! Usually, when a show starts, the man/woman in charge, the writer/producer knows where/how they want the show to end. And, I have a feeling this wasn't it. I would to see the ending they envisioned originally. |
