And I hope (fingers crossed) that this week's story was more to everyone's liking. So this week we read The Chase by Camayane, and it was an incomplete, but we really didn't set the idea of finishing it up, so I apologize. Here goes...

I didn’t want to miss this week’s book club. But I have to confess that I read this at the start of the week and since then real life has kicked my butt majorly and I didn’t get a chance to look it over again. My apologies. What I do remember is that I generally liked the story; the writer did a good job of predicting things the Revo writers were going to do on the show. With the exception of a few misspellings and some grammatical errors, I was also impressed with their grasp of the English language given that it wasn’t their native one. That Adam sure ended up being a cockblock. Lol. Because the writer never finished, I wonder if she ultimately intended for him to be a friend or foe. Liked the twist of Bass and Charlie working together to escape captivity by the Patriots (though how they were found by them was a question I felt needed answering. B/c it wasn’t, I wasn’t sure if we were to assume Adam had turned them in, in which case I couldn’t understand why Charlie would continue to trust him even remotely.) I also remember digging all the sarcastic dialogue. It’s a weakness of mine. I’m ‘fraid that’s all I’ve got for this week. I’m so sorry.
