I completely agree. I dont understand why it always as to be one or the other. Instead of all of them. They are all fabulous in their own ways.

One of the things I loved about the last episode was that I feel like it really let the women shine. They got to be the heroes who saved the day, they hang out together and talked about their lives and their choices and why they made them rather then the males in their lives. Even the villian was a smart intelligent female with a relatively well thought out and executed plan.

Gif sets like these and episodes like the last one just prove to me why I will always defend the show from criticism on its female characters or how they are written.
