Overall it was a good episode. My biggest qualms with it is that things moved WAY to fast. We had DD making his entrance cut to Olicity cut to Team Digg holding off the ghosts again cut to Laurel/Thea showing crashing Olivers proposal to Felicity cut to Olicity coming back to Star City. All of this happening in the same day it seemed.

I enjoyed everyone tonight. Olicity was disgustingly cute, seeing happy Oliver is weird as hell. Laurel/Thea/Digg worked great together, shame we only got 1 scene of them as a 3some.

Black Canary was kicking ass with those tonfas!

Speedy was just pure fun

Diggle with his new toys was cool though the girls took home the award with best action for me tonight. Loved the revelation that Laurel/Thea are roommates! Hopefully we get to see them in a casual setting.

I did find it weird that Black Canary and Speedy don't have voice modulators.

Really enjoyed seeing Diggles little home life scene and of course Lyla is the more even headed of the two. But I am enjoying Diggle/Oliver being at odds, it made Diggle saving Green Arrow so much sweeter to me. Which I liked that they let Green Arrow not be an instant badass against DD and needing help.

Totally laughed when Oliver went into leader mode and dished out orders and everyone just staring at him. Yes they asked him for help, I think they would've been receptive to what he was saying if they felt like he wasn't trying to be boss. Everyone is on mutual ground now and they aren't willing to go backwards.

Oh and Felicity secretly working with Team Digg was great, though they totally missed out on a great opportunity at showing us these scenes where Felicity had to fake something to go help them out.

The flashbacks should've been left out as they didn't do anything imo and they needed as much time in the present as they could get.

Those 2 cliff hangers with Q working with DD was mindblowing, I thought he would be but my reason for it seems like it will be different then what they are doing.

Don't even try to play us Thea or Felicity dying in that flashfoward, just don't waste our time cause this show has exhausted fake deaths.

The episode was very jam packed. We had a whole lot going on. It was crazy, So lets start with the always controversial Felicty and Oliver:

As a 75% F/O shipper. IF they were written well last season i might have jumoed coompletely on board. Anyway, I was worried they would try to compensate an make them to perfect. They didnt. I thoguth they were cute. I liked how comfortable they semed around each other. I also love that Felicity was a little bored and missing having a purpose. So i like that she made little excuses to help the team without Oliver knowing. It showed they didnt know everything about each other yet. I do love how in synce they were about the big things though. How they looked at each other before committing to anything to make sure they were on the same page. Although was Felicity seeming uncomfortable with children suppose to be an indicator to troublees should Connor ever arise? Or was it just one of those moments where some people are to nosy and your put on the spot with your siginificant other abotu something youve never talked about?

DIggle/Oliver - I loved that not everything was solved right away. I always knew Lyla would forgive him first and actually understand where Oliver was coming from. However, I know Dig was angry but witholdong information on the enemy you are facing because you are mad seems petty on Digs part. I dont know if its because he truly doesnt trust Oliver or if its was a protest because Oliver didnt mention where he seen that mystical stuff before. Also dont like the llittle jab he took at him through his worries with Thea but whatever. Im excited to see this relationship rebuilt though. Arrows true OTP baby.

Dig/Baby Sara/Lyla moment was great. It was a nice break in the craziy action of the episode.

Laurel and Thea - Thea was hilarirous this episodes. "Guys i told you to call me Red Arrow." Poor thing. Never gonna happen. Laurel being all bad ass protecting her dad who apparently didnt need it. But still she was awesome. I also kind of like that Laurel and THea made a decision to get Oliver without DIg. They realized he was being stupid. I loved the well oiled machine that Thea,DIg, Laurel were in that opening sequence with the 3. So is Laurel now the DA?

Quentin - I totally called that he was working with Damien. Im not sure its why I originally thought involving Sara or not but I called it. I do wonder why Quentin didnt really have a choice? Very curious.

I loved the mention of Walter as turnign down Mayoral position. I miss him so a mention was great.

Im not sure what i think about the flashbacks. I almost feel like we should have just had one at the end to give us an idea where it was going adn then work them in later. We had so much going on the flashbacks almost made it more confusing. THough I was kind of glad to see that Oliver wasnt willingly working for Waller. I always wondered about that. I am curious as to why hes back in the island? is that where he learns all the mysitcal stuff? I kidn of hope he isnt on the island the whole flashback time though. IS that wierd?

The Flashforward with the grave. I dont know what to think. I feel like they want you to think its Felicity because of Barry. it could be her. Id be sad but i think i might be sad no matter who it is. My second thought was Lance. LIke maybe he tries to write his wrong and it costs his life. I just couldnt imagine why Barry would be ther for that though. Also have to remember our thoughts might change as the season progresses.

I loved Olivers speech and declaring himself Green Arrow. I loved that he wanted to represent hope for the city. It feels like we are finally getting him to comcic book Hero.

Im sure i forgot to mention something but my head was in overload as is.

The episode was awesome! I think I agree with Stephen that Iwould put this premiere behind the pilot.

I pretty much feel the same way as everyone else that I would pick the entire cast as MVP of the episode. No one character or storyline felt flat to me.

I loved loved seeing happy Oliver. To me all the drama and angst of last season is worth it for the pay off of what we are getting this season. Olicity were amazing, I love how adult and mature their relationship is and healthy too. Something you don't always see between television couples. I feel more inclined then ever to believe they will remain stable for the whole season. Clearly the writers want us to know that the engagement ring will stay in play for the rest of the season.

And can we talk about where I chose to "hide" the engagement ring? Seriously Oliver as someone who hides an alter ego with his own secret lair you need to work on your secret hiding spots for the ring.

I actually really love the Laurel/Thea team up/Bff thing and honestly watching them together made me think that this is what we should have gotten with Sara and Laurel.

Im enjoying Diggle's transition into morally grey area. For so long Dig has been used as the character who speaks wisdom to other characters and tags along to lend a hand and support. I love that now he is the one who may need someone to offer him wisdom and that he will be driving his own journey this season.

As for that cliff hanger....

I think they used Barry so that they could make EVERYONE a suspect for death.

I think the writers want us to believe that's its Felicity who died or possibly Thea or Diggle.

I don't think it will actually be any of them. Oliver was resolved in that seen, he wasn't destroyed he wasn't plagued with guilt and he wasn't looking like he couldn't go on. He didn't feel guilty he felt responsible for leading the charge to kill Damien.

If Diggle Thea and especially Felicity died I don't think he would be that resolved. He would be destroyed. Ergo I'm firmly ruling them out.

Right now I have 3 suspects in mind. Lance, Laurel or Baby Mamma. But Im more heavily leaning towards Lance or Baby Mamma then Laurel.

Lance because I feel he is the easiest of the main cast to lose, they have brought in the Lady Cop character who could easily take his place as the Justice/Law enforcing role in the show and he is important enough to Oliver that he would elicit that much of an emotional reaction while also getting empowering Oliver to want justice/revenge on ending Damien.

Baby Mamma (I will put in spoiler tags)

Laurel I admit is a very weak option one Im not 100% sold on, Im not even sure Im 50% sold on. But Im only putting her up as a candidate since it seems like she was the only character they didn't really set up a solid storyline for in the premiere which is slightly odd and because people on tumblr have been speculating as much based on the fact that Katie has been making a series of good bye tweets and posts on instagram.

Plus she is someone Oliver loves dearly and would be devastated by the loss and resolved to kill over but not be completely destroyed. Plus she is someone I could see Barry attending the funeral for more then my other two options as she is a fellow masked hero.

However, Laurel has a big following, is an iconic character in the comic book universe and would be an incredibly risky choice and if KC has a 6 year contract set in stone a potentially expensive choice (since the CW would have to buy her out) to lose so yeah she is below the first two options by a mile but more likely then Diggle Thea and Felicity.

So Im thinking 50% Lance 46% Baby Mamma and 4% Laurel right now. Maybe even 48% Baby Mamma 2% Laurel.

Also I think the grave sight scene happens either in the mid season finale or somewhere in the early part of 4B not the season finale.

I posted this elsewhere, but it's relevant here, so I'm cross-posting it:

As much as I love Felicity, the idea that she's 'untouchable' because of her popularity is a fallacy. If the writers wanted to kill her (or anyone else, for that matter), popularity is not going to stop them. Aside from one misstep in Season 2 where they soke out of turn, these writers have conducted themselves professionally, and professional writers don't pander to fans and let their (fans') opinions dictate how they write.

I also don't buy this idea that Felicity's death (or the deaths of Thea or Diggle) would automatically send Oliver careening back into the darkness metaphysically and metaphorically, especially not when the writers were clearly telegraphing the character's emotional journey for the season: to learn to let go of that darkness. Because they clearly telegraphed what Oliver's arc is going to be, the most important part of the scene with Barry is the line where he speaks about blame and responsibility.

Therefore, anyone trying to make the argument that Felicity's death would shatter Oliver and undo the metaphysical progress we're meant to understand that he's made is grossly underestimating and undervaluing the character.

Somebody on tumblr speculated Lyla dying which I never thought about until reading that so Im definitely adding her to my list because I think she would be an excellent catalyst for drama for the show especially for Diggle's storyline. Plus she is someone Oliver would definitely grieve for.

So Im adding her to list of suspects (Not that I want to because I love her ) But Im still going with Lance as the front runner.

I actually agree with this. I go back and forth on whether I think it's Felicity myself. It just when Oliver talk is about how he would have in the past blamed himself but now he knows that isn't true. It made me think how Feliciy is always the one telling him not everything his fault. I would hope if she died he'd try to honor that. Also he vowed to kill this person... After vowing not to kill anyone for Tommy he kill the count for Felicity. Then maybe not quite the same but Felcity was a big reason he killed RAS. She helped him beleive he could do it.

So Felicity is still on my list as well as Lance and Diggle and now Lyla.

Diggle is obviously going don that path to find his brothers killer. He gets bossed with that. It's why Carly and him broke up. Lyla was suppose tombs the exception but maybe Diggle can't help but be fixated on being so close to what really happened to his brother.
